The process of selecting donor sperm is very personal, and we understand that the decision is not easy. Genesis Reproductive Centre has access to support that helps patients in their journey of fertility using donor sperm. Whether as a single mother or in instances of azoospermia (no sperm in the ejaculate), our team is able to assist you through the various sperm banks to determine the donor that suits your needs for fertility treatment. Our embryologists make the process seamless while discussing the different profiles from the sperm banks. Our aim is to match the donor as closely as possible to the intended father, so we consider build, hair colour, eye colour, and clinical features. We can also request extended profiles for information regarding the interests of the donors, as well as their occupation, level of academia, hobbies, interests, and family history. At all times, we will match donors according to race and ethnicity as far as possible to satisfy the requirements of the intended parents.
