Dr Abri is the founder of Genesis Reproductive Centre, established 21 years ago. He is the chairman of the board.
He is a registered Reproductive Medicine Specialist and runs a multidisciplinary centre of excellence for advanced endoscopy (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) with a special interest in deep infiltrating endometriosis and fertility-related surgical procedures.
He trains fellow gynaecologists and holds a part-time post at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, running the office hysteroscopy clinic.
He is a lifetime board member of the International Society of Gynaecology Endoscopy. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and is an invited international speaker, performing live surgery both locally and internationally, having done live surgeries on three continents.
Neville Moodley is the Lab Director and Operations Manager at Genesis Reproductive Centre. Neville has vast knowledge pertaining to infertility treatment and lab management, and he is passionate about training students and academia. He holds a Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Technology, a Bachelor of Medical Science (Anatomy & Physiology), a BTech in Clinical Technology (cum laude) (Reproductive Biology), and a National Diploma in Clinical Technology (Reproductive Biology). He also recently completed his MBA titled “An investigation of business model innovation for the sustainability of fertility clinics in South Africa”.
Neville is passionate about patient centricity and incorporating advanced assisted reproductive techniques for better patient outcomes. On a personal level, Neville is married with two beautiful children and has a passion for Indian classical music.
Grace Leeuw has been in the nursing field for 21 years. She began her studies at Thuto Bophelo in 2002 for nursing auxiliary and started her career at Kloof Mediclinic in 2003.
In 2008, she attended Tshwane Learning College for her second year as an Enrolled Nurse. She continued her education and obtained a Diploma in Nursing from Tshwane Learning College in 2013.
In 2015, Grace was given the opportunity to serve as the second in charge of the unit.
